PRINCIPLES OF PRACTICE

YANG

Every approach applies an activating component, which is designed to up-regulate and stimulate the Sympathetic Nervous System. By harnessing the power of activation we begin to develop resilience to various degrees of stress.

YIN

Our capacity to activate is directly correlated to our capacity to deactivate. Every approach includes a restorative technique, which down-regulates and stimulates the Parasympathetic Nervous System. Establishing a state of calm as a baseline is the end-goal.

HARMONIC HEALING

Overall, each offering at Sheth Studios is a blend of yang + yin modalities. This completes the comprehensive approach designed to optimize the boundaries of stress while developing human resilience.
