Meet Alexandra
Experience. Education. Impact.
Master of Public Health, Dietetics
specializing in Nervous System Regulation Coaching diversified in BreathWork, Yoga, Trauma Research, Somatic Experiencing, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.
Alexandra is driven by a passion and background in Neuroscience, B.S. and Public Health, MPH from The University of Michigan.
Forever a student, her mission is to support individual and communal access to somatic-based mental health, emotional intelligence, and nervous system regulation tools.
In 2011, Alexandra discovered the practice of Yoga. What began as a movement journey evolved into a personal passion and lifestyle. Over the years, though her style evolves, she is consistently struck and inspired to decrease suicide, loneliness, and chronic disease rates.
After receiving her 200HR YTT Certification in 2016, Alexandra began teaching studio classes in hometown Ann Arbor, MI. In pursuit of increasing access to mental health resources in 2020, she received a $10,000 grant to fund and develop The University of Michigan: Medical School Resident Yoga Program
In the era of CO-VID19, this has been a highlight of Alexandra's career! Offering Yoga and Breathwork to physicians as a mental health resource for stress, fatigue, and overall wellness is an unparalleled opportunity and one she will continue to build upon.
In 2021, she founded Sheth Studios, LLC in this same Michigan town. Guiding Private Programs and Wellness Events, she began offering in-person and virtual breathwork, somatic experiencing, and movement classes as nervous system education tools.
This evolved to Alexandra traveling around the nation to lead Mentorship Programs offering continued education for Yoga Teachers and Educators interested in deepening their understanding and approach to yoga, breath, nervous system regulation, and somatic practice.
In 2022, Alexandra stepped into a Lead Mentorship Role at Yoga Shelter in Detroit, MI. Co-Leading the Mentorship Program, Directing Private Classes, and Offering Yoga Classes Alexandra is dedicated to making a communal impact by investing in the individual.
In 2023, Alexandra moved her personal and professional life to Miami, Florida. Adopting a hybrid model, Sheth Studios functions virtually and in-person. Her services have expanded and primarily focus on bottom-up neurological tools to rewire subconcious and unconcious trauma.
In addition to private practice, Alexandra offers community classes at HANU Yoga Studio and The Standard Spa in South Beach, Miami.
Outside of the studio atmosphere, she is the primary Neuroscience coach at Supermind: a brainwave technology company specializing in self-directed neuroplasticity. Her role at Supermind is sincerely invigorating for Alexandra as it blends the western aspects of Neuroscience with modern day applications of Mindfulness.
Throughout her professional pursuit of education she continues to devote herself as a student and teacher at Budokon Mixed Movement Academy (Yoga, Mixed Mobility) and Somatic Experiencing™ International Trainings and Seminars.
Rooted in eastern tradition while rising into western applications her approach is accessible and welcome to all ages, races, and populations.
